About the Role

The Sales Leadership Development Program at SC Johnson is an entry-level, multi-year introduction into the key functions in Sales. The program involves rotating through multiple roles to build a comprehensive Sales skillset, with a focus on transforming data into actionable insights that impact business results. The role offers significant cross-functional interaction with sales, marketing, customer marketing, and account teams, contributing to the company's growth and success while fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Based on the rotation, focus on Sales Analysis and Category and Shopper Leadership roles.
  • Provide a holistic perspective of key opportunities for the Sales organization through cumulative reporting.
  • Analyze point of sale, channel facts, consumer facts, and related research to improve business performance.
  • Forecast sales shipments based on trends, weather, historical data, and other considerations.
  • Pull, analyze, and prepare data from multiple sources including Nielsen, Market Basket, customer Point of Sales, and Downstream Data.
  • Prepare customer information to add value during sales calls.
  • Provide retailer-specific solutions and recommendations based on insights generated from data analyses and research.
  • Mine and analyze data from syndicated scan and panel data, retailer point-of-sale data, and space planning software.
  • Provide category analyses, insights, and recommendations for assortment, retail pricing, and trade promotions.
  • Utilize category and aisle expertise to recommend shelf merchandising and item placement.
  • Develop plan-o-grams using space management software.

Requirements

  • Prior internship experience in Sales, Marketing, or Business.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, sales, or related field with a graduation date of Spring 2026.
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Full-Time availability.
  • Willingness to relocate for future assignments after the program.
  • Ability to work remotely once a week for eligible employees.

Nice to Have

  • CPG (Consumer Product Goods) experience.
  • Interest in a long-term career in sales with willingness to relocate for future roles.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word).
  • Knowledge or prior experience with sales planning tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and results-driven in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, sales, or related field with a Spring 2026 graduation date.
