About the Role

The Associate SEO Specialist supports the SEO Specialist on their assigned accounts and is expected to support SEO tactics and opportunities. This person will execute strategic recommendations, monitor inbound marketing programs, conduct research, analyze SEO performance, and work collaboratively within the SEO team. The role involves maintaining up-to-date knowledge of SEO best practices and working with internal relationships to drive client goals within a global, full-service marketing agency network serving the life sciences industry. Key Responsibilities

Keyword research
Implement SEO best practices across multiple efforts
Monitor SEO activities, metrics, and program performance for client reports
Assist in development of campaign optimization recommendations
Manage and implement SEO and link-building campaigns
Assist with development of internal education and/or articles
Maintain team and project status updates
Support the SEO team with executing strategic recommendations and monitoring inbound marketing programs
Conduct research and analyze SEO performance

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in marketing, strategic communications, or a similar field
Knowledge of SEO best practices
Passion for search and desire to continuously learn, educate and expand knowledge
Ability to monitor, track, and report on SEO results
Knowledge of analytical and search-specific tools such as Adobe Omniture, Google Analytics, SiteCatalyst, Conductor, Moz, SEMRush, and Ahrefs
Flexibility and innovative thinking
Ability to be a strong team player, working within team dynamic or independently as needed
Strong communication, organization, and task management skills

Nice to Have

Experience with SEO tools and analytics platforms
Experience working in marketing or digital marketing environments

Qualifications

Educational background in marketing or strategic communications
