The Boeing Company is seeking an Associate Virtual Maintenance Trainer (VMT) Software Engineer to support the VMT team in Jacksonville, Florida, focusing on supporting Boeing Global Services (BGS). This role involves building the next generation of aircraft simulators to train military and commercial personnel, working within an agile environment with a diverse team of engineers, using the latest tools and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develops, documents and maintains architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems.
  • Develops and maintains code and integrates software components into a fully functional software system.
  • Collaborate on software verification plans, test procedures and test environments, executing the test procedures and documenting test results to ensure software system requirements are met.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in software development utilizing Java, C++ or C#.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in developing and deploying software programs.
  • 2+ years of experience writing and testing software.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship.
  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited program in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.

Nice to Have

  • Unity3D development experience.
  • Virtual Maintenance Training experience.
  • Provides technical leadership for software projects and leads software supplier management activities.

  • Bachelor of Science degree in relevant field.
