About the Role
The Christian Post (CP) is one of the leading daily Christian newspapers headquartered in Washington, D.C., with a bureau in Dallas. It covers news relevant to American Christians, particularly evangelicals, including topics such as church, international affairs, politics, and entertainment. The mission of CP is to serve the world by providing professional journalism from a biblical perspective. The organization is seeking an Audience Growth Manager to oversee online audience development across platforms, utilizing data insights and analytics to drive audience acquisition and retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee online audience growth across platforms using data insights and analytics.
- Create and implement audience growth strategies for acquisition and retention.
- Work with audience analytics to inform content and marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with senior executive leadership, department leaders, and external partners to align growth initiatives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of digital audience strategy experience.
- Strong marketing analytics, content marketing, and online engagement skills.
- Proven track record of digital audience expansion.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with senior leadership and external partners.
- Ability to identify business growth opportunities and align strategies.
- Must work in-person in the Washington, D.C. office full-time.
- Agree with The Christian Post's statement of faith.
Nice to Have
- Established relationships with management of traffic channel platforms.
- Experience working with newsroom or in media.
