About the Role

The Bond Account Manager assists Account Executives and Producers with their assigned portfolio of clients. The role involves responding to client questions and concerns, maintaining and retaining existing clients, and preparing renewal proposals. The position supports the overall client service and administrative functions within the insurance agency, contributing to client retention and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepares and collects renewal data by communicating with existing clients to obtain updated information needed for insurance coverage continuation.
  • Reviews received information and submits it to carriers for quoting.
  • Reviews carrier quotes when received and prepares renewal proposals for Account Executives and/or Producers to present to clients.
  • Responds to client inquiries, needs, and concerns by handling telephone calls and emails regarding questions about insurance coverage and limits.
  • Escalates issues to Account Executive or Producer as necessary.
  • Reviews limits for compliance and contacts clients to make adjustments as needed.
  • Provides clients with insurance documents including certificates of insurance.
  • Submits change requests to carriers.
  • Reviews and assists with duties performed by Administrative Assistants.
  • Performs client/file maintenance by checking insurance policies against binders for coverage discrepancies, updating the agency management system, and working with legal for filing Surplus Lines taxes and documentation.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required.
  • 3-4 years of directly related work experience required.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid Property & Casualty insurance license.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.

Qualifications

  • Valid Property & Casualty insurance license.
  • Experience in insurance or related field.
  • Strong communication and client service skills.
