About the Role

The Brand & Marketing Operations Manager will be the connective tissue of the Lightstone Direct marketing team - owning our organic brand presence across social media, ensuring design excellence across all media, coordinating campaigns, and driving event marketing efforts. This individual will work cross-functionally to bring the brand to life consistently, supporting investor acquisition and engagement through thoughtful execution. This is a highly creative yet operational role - ideal for a resourceful marketer who thrives at the intersection of content, design, project management, and brand storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and produce marketing assets across channels (whitepapers, case studies, infographics, ads, brochures, decks, website imagery) within brand guidelines.
  • Edit and repurpose raw photo, video, and webinar content into short-form assets for social, articles, and investor communications.
  • Maintain brand integrity across all investor touchpoints, ensuring every output reflects Lightstone Direct's voice and visual identity.
  • Lead Lightstone Direct's organic social media presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, X, Facebook, TikTok, and emerging platforms.
  • Define and monitor KPIs to ensure that organic social is a meaningful driver of brand awareness.
  • Develop and execute a robust social content calendar that integrates deal flow, thought leadership, events, and timely market commentary.
  • Drive community management, growth hacking, and engagement strategies to expand brand awareness and traffic.
  • Use research tools and analytics to identify key topics and social media entities; hone the social media strategy to infiltrate key conversations and capture relevant impressions.
  • Coordinate with executives and team members to amplify reach through firm-wide social advocacy.
  • Serve as project manager for campaigns, coordinating timelines, stakeholders, and deliverables across marketing, IR, product, and agency partners.
  • Manage marketing vendors, freelancers, and partner contracts to ensure quality and timeliness.
  • Assist with marketing automation, email campaigns, and optimization of nurture journeys in partnership with the Sr. Performance Marketing Manager.
  • Identify and manage contractor and agency resources to deliver design assets on-time and on-budget.
  • Work within brand libraries and brand standards to ensure continuity and quality of design deliverables, supporting social media, content marketing, and paid media.
  • Plan and manage investor-facing events, including conferences, webinars, and in-person gatherings at Lightstone properties.
  • Coordinate brand assets, F&B resources, internal attendee lists, media contractors, and brand assets to deliver investor events.
  • Use audience research and third-party data sources to plan and execute highly targeted events in key markets.
  • Coordinate logistics, negotiate with venues, and oversee omni-channel promotion to maximize attendance.
  • Partner with Capital Formation to execute effective direct mail strategies for events.
  • Partner with Investor Relations to execute effective post-event follow-up campaigns.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of marketing experience with a focus on brand, content, or creative operations.
  • Experience in real estate, hospitality, or financial services is a plus.
  • Proven ability to manage social media strategy and execution across multiple platforms.
  • Strong design sensibility and proficiency with creative tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar).
  • Experience with video/photo editing and repurposing content for digital channels.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills; comfortable balancing multiple initiatives.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling content.
  • Collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, design, or related field.
