About the Role

The Brand Manager will play a pivotal role within the Brand Marketing Team of a worldwide telecommunications company, responsible for shaping and maintaining the integrity of the brand. The role involves developing, implementing, and optimizing brand messaging and creative assets to ensure alignment with overarching brand and product strategies, with a focus on brand resonance, creative performance, and cross-functional communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with creative agencies and internal teams to optimize and streamline creative messaging and brand design, reflecting a deep understanding of brand positioning and strategy.
  • Craft compelling creative that drives business results, including comprehensive brief development, hands-on creative management, and detailed creative reviews.
  • Support the development, refinement, and dissemination of core brand artifacts, including messaging frameworks, brand guidelines, and other essential brand documentation.
  • Maintain awareness of product proof points relevant to target audiences and provide recommendations on their placement across creative elements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and agency partners to continuously optimize creative performance, track messaging placements, and analyze relevant data.
  • Monitor competitor messaging and industry trends to innovate and keep the brand at the forefront of marketing approaches.
  • Support the development of positioning and messaging for new products, including naming and key reasons-to-believe, in partnership with the consumer insights team.
  • Compile and present campaign plans and results to executives, clearly articulating brand performance and strategic recommendations.
  • Manage messaging claims documents to ensure consistent and approved brand messaging across all team activations.
  • Provide support to broader brand strategy projects and initiatives as directed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience in brand messaging development, creative oversight, and contributing to brand strategy.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a strong portfolio showcasing effective brand messaging.
  • Self-motivated and driven, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation.
  • Proficient with Google platforms (Slides, Docs, etc.).
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A strong sense of urgency and a continuous learning mindset.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with creative agencies and internal teams on brand messaging and design.
  • Experience in the telecommunications or technology industry.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and competitor messaging strategies.
