About the Role

The Brand Manager position at Constellation Brands is responsible for delivering specified business targets such as volume, profit, and share through the development and execution of brand strategies and plans. Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for development and execution of strategic and annual marketing plans covering all aspects of the marketing mix.
  • Shared responsibility for delivering volume, share, and profit objectives with P&L accountability for bottom line profitability.
  • Build premium consumer and trade equity through strategies including pricing, packaging, innovation, promotion, public relations, advertising/digital marketing, and special events based on analytical and consumer insights.
  • Develop and execute insights-based strategic innovation plans for short and long-term success.
  • Work closely with DTC, E-Commerce, and Hospitality teams to achieve omni-channel brand growth goals.
  • Perform ongoing business and competitive analyses, providing findings and recommendations to Senior Management.
  • Manage brand projects, overall budget allocation, and prepare and present branded presentations internally and externally.
  • Oversee outside agency initiatives supporting brand objectives, including promotion, media buying, and advertising agencies.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership, strategic accounts, internal field sales, and distributors to develop marketing programs and identify growth opportunities.
  • Liaise with international teams to ensure global brand strategy and execution consistency.
  • Manage multi-year brand S&OP forecast with Operations, including at-risk inventory review.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, drive stewardship of 360 programs, and nurture collaborative relationships.
  • Visit key markets to support market blitzes, new product launches, and surveys, reporting findings and recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in CPG or Beverage Alcohol industry marketing role.
  • Experience in identifying key consumer insights, refining brand positioning, and developing brand strategies.
  • Proven track record in developing and managing successful brand plans and achieving results.
  • Strong financial acumen with P&L management experience.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience managing external agencies and complex projects with budgets.
  • Proficient in PC skills (Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), syndicated databases (IRI or Nielsen), and custom databases.
  • Ability to be onsite at least 3 days a week at the winery.
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs occasionally and work in a normal office environment.
  • Flexibility to travel up to 30%, work weekends and evenings as required, and hold a valid U.S. Passport.

Nice to Have

  • Master's Degree.
  • Certifications through WSET Level 2 or 3, or Court of Master Sommeliers.
  • Solid understanding of the three-tier distribution system.

  • Strong results orientation with a focus on financial accountability.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to coach and develop team members.
  • Experience in hospitality services and wine club management is a plus.

Benefits & Perks

  • Comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k).
  • Salary range of $110,800 to $173,400 based on experience and other factors.
