The Brand Manager, Innovation - Frozen, leads the innovation agenda for iconic brands, managing consumer insights, product development, packaging, and cross-functional collaboration to drive category growth and bring new products to market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the creation and validation of a multi-year innovation strategy and pipeline based on consumer pain points and white space opportunities in the category.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R D, consumer insights, quality, operations, sales, finance) to take ideas from concepts to reality, validating or invalidating desirability, feasibility, and viability assumptions.
  • Manage agency relationships for packaging design of new products and lead validation with consumers in partnership with the consumer insights team.
  • Own innovation through the stage gate process, providing visibility to senior leadership on risks and opportunities, and aligning on next steps and tradeoffs.
  • Leverage syndicated data sources to understand category performance, bringing insights and recommendations to drive business impact.
  • Maintain a consumer-first mindset in day-to-day decisions, ensuring brand integrity while balancing financial and operational considerations.
  • Champion an innovation culture within the marketing team, encouraging outside-in thinking, challenging the status quo, and driving continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required; MBA preferred with a marketing emphasis.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing or product innovation, especially in CPG.
  • Innovative and collaborative mindset, resourceful and consumer-focused.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire teams and build relationships.
  • Excellent communication and simplification skills to synthesize data and insights.
  • Propensity to move quickly with agility, ownership mindset, and strong time management skills.
  • Experience in design thinking and agile innovation methodologies is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (required).
  • MBA (preferred).
  • 5+ years experience in marketing or product innovation, especially in CPG.
