Brand Manager, Safer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead brand strategy and be accountable for delivering annual targets including top-line sales, EBITDA, and market share growth.
• Manage the P&L to deliver topline growth above market and improve profitability through product mix and contribution margin management.
• Collaborate with the New Product Development team to identify, qualify, and execute new product launches that support long-term growth.
• Partner with Marketing Communication teams to develop effective brand building communications across various channels.
• Work closely with Sales to support successful new product sell-ins, line reviews, and growth of distribution and promotional opportunities.
• Influence and partner with key external stakeholders including Retailers, especially Amazon, to plan and evaluate marketing investments and sales strategies.
• Build and lead cross-functional relationships within the organization, including Finance, Supply, Manufacturing, Demand Planning, and Sourcing.
• Engage with senior leadership including the CEO, CFO, and other department heads, and occasionally present to the Board of Directors.
• Support the delivery of consistent, annual topline growth and profit growth through strategic initiatives and stakeholder engagement.
• Perform other duties as assigned, with up to 25% travel for meetings, visits, and industry events.

Requirements

• College degree: BA/BS required (marketing, economics, advertising preferred).
• 5+ years of total Sales/Marketing experience.
• Computer literacy including all Microsoft Software.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Analytical ability and capacity to present complex concepts.
• Experience in P&L management and understanding of retail and consumer packaged goods business models.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence internal and external partners.
• Comfort presenting to Buyers and Buyer management, with specific focus on Amazon as the company's largest customer.

Nice to Have

• Experience working with top US retailers such as Walmart, The Home Depot, Tractor Supply Co.
• Experience in consumer insights and data analytics.
• Experience in innovation and product development within the CPG industry.

Qualifications

• College degree (BA/BS) in relevant field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and marketing roles.
