About the Role

Komar, an industry leader in sleepwear, layering and intimate apparel, is seeking a Brand Manager. The Brand Manager is responsible for handling all aspects of product management including interfacing with design, sales, production and the accounts. The role requires a proactive leader who can successfully guide, motivate and inspire the team, with experience in systems, process and reporting, creative problem-solving, flexibility, and merchandising skills.

Key Responsibilities

Liaison between Design, Production, Fabric and Sales teams for all information regarding product development.
Organize and participate in competitive shopping trips.
Be aware of all styles and fabrics within brands.
Analyze sales reports and share key information with team.
Motivate team to hit deadlines, costs, margins, and minimums.
Manage weekly WIP; Coordinate LIP meetings and create recap of all items discussed.
Request greige and market samples from factory in timely manner.
Review production samples with design and tech teams and highlight any issues.
Review buyer's orders and key records of market sales and yearly sales.
Enter styles and pre-controls into Blue Cherry PLM system.
Set styles numbers and color codes.
Enter costing into retailer's system.
Manage all advertising, photoshoots, line reviews, TOP and special sample requests.
Prepare product attribute descriptions for retailer.
Attend and recap all internal meetings and market appointments. Meet with and present to accounts.

Requirements

3 years related work experience.
Knowledge of production, sales, and account management.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including strong presentation and merchandising skills.
A “can do” attitude, flexible, and strong interpersonal skills are needed.
Strong organizational skills & excellent attention to detail.
Technically proficient in Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Blue-Cherry.
