Brand Manager - Spirits

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee dedicated category's brand marketing and work with supplier partners to ensure branding decisions lead to increased sales.
• Create internal sales materials to best represent the products and develop programming to position products effectively in the market.
• Maintain the pricing file and develop incentive programs.
• Facilitate supplier market visits, coordinate with Sales Directors to determine successful territory ride alongs, and ensure samples and POS materials are available.
• Help generate and activate consumer events, including sending pre-event schedules and information.
• Monitor brand inventory in collaboration with the forecasting team through weekly meetings and daily communication.
• Solve customer problems to benefit both the customer and Eagle Rock Distributing Company.
• Collaborate with Sales Directors to develop marketing and sales strategies, communicate incentives and new launches, and analyze reports to identify growth opportunities.
• Develop brand focus initiatives on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, including internal planning and business meetings with suppliers.
• Maintain the Eagle Rock Portfolio Book and oversee supplier AR.
• Analyze markets to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
• Evaluate new products and onboard new suppliers, including sample requests and in-market tastings.
• Ensure brand standards are consistently marketed and coordinate special events and in-market presence.
• Develop creative sell-through strategies for new brand placements.

Requirements

• Experience in brand marketing, supplier relations, and market positioning within the spirits or beverage industry.
• Ability to create marketing materials and develop programming for product positioning.
• Strong collaboration skills to work with sales teams and suppliers.
• Experience with inventory and pricing management.
• Ability to analyze reports and identify market trends and growth opportunities.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating events, supplier visits, and internal planning.
• Proficiency in developing strategic plans and executing marketing initiatives.
• Ability to manage multiple projects including in-market presence and special events.

• Experience with new product evaluation and onboarding new suppliers.
• Creative program development skills for brand placement and sell-through strategies.
• Experience in managing AR and financial analysis related to suppliers.

Qualifications

• Mid-level experience in brand management or related field.

• Competitive salary range of $54,600 - $68,000 per year.
