About the Role

The Brand Marketing Manager, PRO Activations, West, NA (LA based) at Ralph Lauren is responsible for managing and executing regional marketing initiatives to build brand awareness, drive traffic, and generate revenue within the Greater Los Angeles area. The role involves developing strategic activations, partnerships, and community-driven moments, serving as a liaison between corporate marketing, store management, and external partners to deliver localized, customer-focused experiences that align with global brand initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive regional marketing strategy that aligns with national and global brand initiatives and meets commercial needs.
  • Drive development of new customer acquisition and retention strategies.
  • Create retail activations, client experiences, local brand partnerships, community moments, and PR opportunities to increase traffic, sales, and brand desirability.
  • Identify high-potential regional brand partnerships to amplify visibility and engage key consumer segments.
  • Support new store openings, tourism initiatives, and seasonal moments to boost engagement and customer acquisition.
  • Collaborate with retail management, corporate marketing, and creative teams to craft exceptional customer experiences that enhance brand affinity.
  • Lead the launch and management of the Clienteling experience across the region to foster personalized engagement and improve customer lifetime value.
  • Manage strategic partnerships with mall centers through media plans, display concepts, third-party collaborations, and events to drive foot traffic.
  • Plan, develop, and execute in-store activations and community-driven events, managing all logistics from vendor procurement to onsite coordination.
  • Monitor and analyze event performance, sales impact, and customer engagement, preparing reports and insights.
  • Manage event budgets, ensuring proper billing and invoicing, and update marketing calendars for alignment.
  • Analyze regional market insights, consumer trends, and industry data to inform marketing strategies.
  • Leverage data insights to optimize marketing efforts, customer segmentation, and event formats.
  • Track key performance metrics and provide regular reports on marketing activations and partnerships.
  • Serve as the primary retail marketing contact for the West Coast, building relationships with store teams, external partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of marketing strategies and campaigns.

Requirements

  • Management experience in retail stores and field operations.
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or equivalent preferred.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and ability to learn technical applications quickly.
  • Experience with brand store events and activations is essential.
  • Event management and local PR experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work weekends and travel as required, including 2-4 days per quarter to New York/New Jersey.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
