About the Role

BCforward is seeking a Brand Marketing Manager V for a remote contract position. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop research strategies, analyze data, and inform product development and marketing initiatives. BCforward is a Black-owned firm with a strong culture centered on People-Centric values, supporting digital product delivery and workforce management globally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UXR, Product Data Science, and Marketing Decision Science, to develop a comprehensive learning agenda for the Wearables pillar.
  • Design and conduct innovative quantitative and qualitative research to inform decision-making, strategic planning, product development, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Translate research findings into actionable insights with clear recommendations, producing effective communication to motivate application of learnings across the organization.
  • Execute full-cycle research independently and leverage insights to inform strategies and drive business outcomes.
  • Collaborate proactively with a variety of partners and adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and presentation skills with a proven track record of delivering concise, executive-level syntheses to influence business decisions.
  • Extensive experience in product/feature launches, driving impact and influencing decision-making.
  • Ability to think holistically and analytically.
  • 8+ years of experience in quantitative and qualitative research, including hands-on experience in survey/discussion guide and data analysis.
  • Problem-solving and prioritization skills to develop research problems and methodological approaches.
  • More product development vs campaigning experience.
  • Insight experience in Brand Marketing, including brand campaigns and campaign creative development.
  • Strong research background with the capability to define and create strategies and promote products effectively.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to bring ideas and product development insights.

Nice to Have

  • Experience conducting research on wearable technology.
  • Experience with physical products.
  • Unilever and CPG marketing insight experience, including consumer packaged goods (CPG) marketing insights and tech product development.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in research, product development, or related fields.

Benefits & Perks

  • This is a contract role with pay ranging from $65 to $75 per hour.
  • Potential for extension beyond 7+ months.
