About the Role

BCforward is seeking a highly motivated Brand Marketing Manager V for a remote opportunity. The role involves developing and executing brand marketing strategies, conducting research, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to inform product and brand development. BCforward is a Black-owned firm supporting organizations worldwide with workforce management and digital product delivery, emphasizing a people-centric, diverse, and excellence-driven culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UXR, Product Data Science, and Marketing Decision Science, to develop a comprehensive learning agenda for the Wearables pillar.
  • Design and conduct innovative quantitative and qualitative research to inform decision-making, strategic planning, and marketing/brand strategies.
  • Translate research findings into actionable insights with clear recommendations, producing effective communication to motivate application of learnings across the organization.
  • Execute full-cycle research independently and leverage insights to inform strategies and drive business outcomes.
  • Collaborate proactively with a variety of partners and adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and presentation skills with a proven track record of delivering concise, executive-level syntheses to influence business decisions.
  • Extensive experience in product/feature launches, driving impact and influencing decision-making.
  • Ability to think holistically and analytically.
  • 8+ years of experience in quantitative and qualitative research, including hands-on experience in survey/discussion guide and data analysis.
  • Problem-solving and prioritization skills to develop research problems and methodological approaches.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in leading insight-driven campaigns.
  • Experience conducting research on wearable technology.
  • Experience with physical products.
  • Experience in brand building and brand strategy development.
  • Capability to define and create strategies and promote products effectively.
  • Experience with consumer-packaged goods (CPG) marketing insights, as well as tech product development.

Qualifications

  • Experience in brand marketing insight, brand campaigns, and campaign creative development.
  • Strong communication skills to clearly present ideas and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience providing insights that inform product development.
