About the Role

As a Brand Marketing Specialist at MPC, you will shape the digital presence and consumer engagement strategies for proprietary brands (Marathon and ARCO) within the jobber class of trade. The role is ideal for a highly motivated individual who can identify trends, develop and implement comprehensive strategies aligned with broader brand objectives, and manage multiple projects. The position requires innovation, critical thinking, analytical skills, and strong communication and collaboration abilities. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of a holistic digital strategy, including website management and search engine optimization, related to the Marathon Retail Brand, loyalty program (Marathon ARCO Rewards), and B2B initiatives.
  • Manage relationships with key vendors.
  • Develop and maintain a bank of digital assets for internal business partners and customers.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to execute comprehensive marketing campaigns involving ad agencies, field sales teams, loyalty program specialists, and sponsorship specialists.
  • Review, edit, and distribute brand communications via Salesforce Marketing Cloud, ensuring a consistent brand voice.
  • Develop, maintain, and present training materials for brand meetings and internal/external business partners.
  • Plan and execute 2-3 Jobber Advisory Council meetings annually.
  • Develop, manage, and adhere to budget parameters for key focus areas such as socials, web, and training.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in marketing, communication, or other business-related fields.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, advertising, and/or the energy industry.
  • Prior experience with public speaking, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Monday.com, digital and social marketing tactics preferred.
  • Skills in accountability, adaptability, collaboration, communication, critical thinking, customer service, decision making, problem solving, time management, and work standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (required).
