About the Role

SAP Corporate Marketing roles are responsible for translating our business strategy into marketing strategies to drive our growth goals. The Brand and Creative Marketing (B&C) Team at SAP manages the brand fundamentals, including brand, research, brand architecture, and messaging. The Brand Strategy team acts as a trusted advisor on these topics to colleagues in marketing, product management, and throughout the organization. The role involves contributing to the development of positioning and messaging across various domains, helping to shape and maintain the consistency and effectiveness of the SAP brand message.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of positioning and messaging across various domains including corporate, products/solutions, events, and campaigns.
  • Help shape and maintain the consistency and effectiveness of the SAP brand message.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product management, and other teams to ensure brand alignment.
  • Act as a strategic advisor on brand fundamentals such as brand, research, architecture, and messaging.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in brand strategy, with a focus on positioning and messaging.
  • Ability to develop clear and effective messaging for corporate, products/solutions, events, and campaigns.
  • Proficiency in conducting and applying customer research to inform messaging strategies.
  • Ability to analyze, develop, and articulate complex concepts and data in a simple, clear, and compelling manner.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Collaborative, consultative, and service-oriented style.
  • Proactive mindset, sense of urgency, and a 'can do' attitude.
  • Passion for building brands that engage audiences and fuel business growth.
  • Preferred experience in enterprise software, tech, or IT industries.
  • Experience in brand strategy/consulting (agency or client side) or product marketing is a strong plus.
