About the Role

Hologic is seeking a Regional Sales Manager responsible for developing, achieving, and managing regional business targets and strategy. The role involves coaching and managing a sales team, developing customer relationships, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to meet regional business objectives. The position requires extensive travel and a focus on delivering sustainable and profitable results within the healthcare industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic regional business plans to ensure sustainable and profitable business results.
  • Coach, develop, and manage sales team members including Account Executives, Breast Surgery Territory Managers, and Clinical Account Managers to meet and exceed targets.
  • Build and maintain effective customer care relationships for Hologic's disposable breast biopsy, imaging, and capital product suites.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key thought leaders and stay informed on marketplace trends.
  • Collaborate with other team members and resources to meet customer needs and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Understand customer and company business and financial drivers to assist in developing business solutions.
  • Build relationships at all levels internally and externally, and navigate resistance to new ideas or business development efforts.
  • Ask relevant questions, listen actively, and provide mutually beneficial business solutions.
  • Develop, manage, and negotiate purchasing agreements with IDNs and GPOs.
  • Display critical thinking, emotional intelligence, and accountability in decision-making and leadership.
  • Create and lead regional change initiatives, attract and develop high-performing team members, and ensure accountability for commitments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required in a scientific, biomedical, business, or marketing discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience leading and managing high-performance sales teams, preferably in the top 20% of year-over-year performance.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry and experience selling to hospitals, cancer centers, and surgeons.
  • Experience selling biomedical, medical device, or imaging products is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license, satisfactory driving record, and access to a serviceable vehicle for work use.
  • Willingness to travel extensively, including overnight stays for regional accounts and medical conventions.

  • Total compensation range of $275,000 to $375,000, based on base salary and commission plan.
