About the Role

Join Back Market's dynamic Seller Success team as the driving force behind our seller ecosystem! As Europe's leading refurbished electronics marketplace, we're revolutionizing how businesses connect with millions of customers across the EU, the UK and the US. This internship offers hands-on experience in a fast-growing tech company, focusing on business development, seller management, and marketplace expansion, with a mission to promote sustainable, affordable tech and positive environmental impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Navigate through our extensive database of thousands of potential sellers, qualifying and prioritizing them based on business potential and strategic fit
  • Provide professional consultation and support via Salesforce, guiding sellers through our comprehensive onboarding journey from initial sign-up to successful activation
  • Leverage Excel and Salesforce to analyze seller profiles, create strategic reports, and identify the most promising business opportunities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on improvement projects, bringing fresh perspectives to enhance our seller activation processes
  • Communicate directly with sellers across Europe and the US, building strong professional relationships that drive business growth

Requirements

  • Seeking a 6-month full-time internship (Gap Year or End of Studies welcome)
  • Fluent English - you'll be the voice of Back Market to international sellers
  • Excel proficiency including pivot tables and data analysis capabilities
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
  • Passionate about business development/sales with a keen eye for identifying opportunities
  • Structured approach to work with ability to prioritize effectively in fast-paced environments

Nice to Have

  • French language skills
  • Salesforce experience or CRM familiarity
  • Previous commercial or e-commerce experience
  • Proactive mindset with initiative for process improvements
  • Additional European languages

  • Ideal profile: ambitious, friendly yet professional students excited about sales, business development, and e-commerce
  • Motivation, business acumen, and eagerness to make a real impact are most important
