About the Role

Google's line of products and services to clients is continuously expanding. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google’s partners, leveraging business acumen and product knowledge to foster growth through new product offerings. The role involves interacting with partners, shaping product strategies, and forming content partnerships to enhance user experiences across various Google products such as YouTube, Google TV, and Commerce. The position also supports Google’s Product teams with partnerships that enable advertising, search, assistant, maps, travel, shopping, and payments, among others.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with game developers to unlock opportunities for Play's games business. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships. Manage and support a portfolio of game developers or publishers' titles distributed via Play surfaces.
  • Identify new content and secure agreements with developers/publishers to bring key titles/IP onto Play. Develop joint business plans, and align partner strategies with Google’s platform objectives. This may involve advising on market trends, commercial best practices, and platform opportunities.
  • Partner with the product team on the latest Platform goals and align priorities on new and innovative titles. Act as an advocate for the Google platform, communicating Google platform updates, policies, and best practices to partners. Gather partner feedback and advocate for their needs internally within Google.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.

Nice to Have

  • Master's or advanced degree.
  • Experience managing end-to-end partnerships.
  • Experience working in a dynamic, ever-changing, and collaborative environment.
  • Ability to identify potential business opportunities, assess financial/business benefits, structure agreements, and discuss terms with partners.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
