The role of Business Development Manager in Hospitality - Americas involves driving growth in the hospitality sector by creating and executing go-to-market strategies, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding Worldline's footprint across North America and LATAM.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the hospitality sector across North America and LATAM.
  • Build and nurture a pipeline of high-value prospects, leading them through the sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure.
  • Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy targeting enterprise clients in hospitality.
  • Lead commercial negotiations, pricing discussions, and contract structuring to maximize revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new clients.
  • Analyze market trends, regulatory updates, and competitive landscapes to identify expansion opportunities.
  • Develop tailored value propositions that align with customer needs and Worldline's payment solutions portfolio.
  • Work closely with product and innovation teams to ensure offerings remain competitive and relevant to industry trends.
  • Represent Worldline at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to build brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Work cross-functionally with account management, product, compliance, marketing, and operations teams to drive new business opportunities.
  • Partner with internal teams to enhance client engagement strategies and optimize sales processes.
  • Provide market feedback to help shape Worldline's product roadmap and service enhancements.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships within payments, travel, hospitality, or fintech industries.
  • Strong network among global hospitality brands and CRS/PMS partners is a plus.
  • Expertise in B2B sales, consultative selling, and complex deal negotiations.
  • Ability to develop compelling value propositions and communicate the benefits of Worldline's solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working in a multinational and matrixed environment, collaborating across teams and geographies.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese) are a plus.
  • +4 years of 'hunter' experience in business development, sales, or partnerships within payments, fintech, or travel sectors.
  • Knowledge of payment solutions, cross-border transactions, and travel industry payment challenges.
  • Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce.
  • A strong entrepreneurial mindset, with a drive to hunt and close deals.
  • Experience leading regional expansion strategies and working with enterprise clients.

  • Additional languages such as Spanish or Portuguese.
  • Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce.
