Business Project Advisor - Hybrid - Express Scripts

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop joint project plans to support client-specific and organizational deliverables and milestones.
• Review and track the status of work streams, manage project risks and issues to closure, and provide project updates to leadership and partners.
• Collaborate with Product, IT, and other business partners to ensure client needs and goals are prioritized and on track.
• Act as a consultative client liaison between all ESI functional areas and client contacts, including client, TPA, broker, and/or consultant parties.
• Provide strategic direction and guidance to internal operational functions and clients to mitigate project risks.
• Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
• Represent the client on internal calls and project core team meetings.

Requirements

• Ability to lead multiple, highly visible projects simultaneously with effective time management and priority setting.
• Quick learner with the ability to create project strategies and plans that identify dependencies, gaps, risks, and issues.
• Proven ability to navigate undefined scenarios and establish resolution paths, meeting project milestones and negotiating resources.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and resolving complex issues without direct authority.
• Strong leadership skills and influence over decision-makers.
• Focus on client satisfaction and retention.
• Adaptability in a dynamic environment with problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including facilitation and presentation abilities.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and ability to adapt to proprietary systems.
• 5+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 2+ years with a Master's Degree.
• Willingness to accommodate minimal travel as needed.

Nice to Have

• 3+ years of experience working with ESI Systems and/or operational processes.
• Account Management or Client Services experience.
• Process Improvement experience.
• Project Management Certification (PMP).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience (or 2+ years with a Master's Degree).
