Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding and innovative business solutions that support technology evolution and change the way businesses connect.
  • Continuously hunt and prospect for new business or grow existing accounts.
  • Consult with customers to identify their business challenges and recommend tailored solutions.
  • Identify, develop, and qualify leads within the territory through cold-calling, partner-selling, lead-generation campaigns, and social selling techniques.
  • Gain new business and incremental revenue to meet sales targets.
  • Retain, manage, and grow the existing customer base.
  • Coordinate with support partners to educate and excite customers about leveraging innovative business solutions.
  • Proactively establish, build, and maintain relationships with key decision makers.
  • Effectively present and create multi-product solution opportunities.
  • Demonstrate understanding of wireless, mobility products, and integrated software solutions including Cloud, Security, ISP, VoIP, and Google platforms.
  • Track and report progress using sales force automation tools.
  • Engage clients with Verizon's Velocity Selling methodology utilizing AI and CRM tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work or military experience.
  • Experience in outside sales, prospecting, and negotiation.
  • Willingness to work in a mobile environment with travel within the assigned territory, up to approximately 50%.
  • Valid driver's license.

Nice to Have

  • A degree — Associates or Bachelor's Degree or certifications/college courses.
  • Two or more years of business-to-business or outside sales experience, including business acquisition and prospecting/cold calling.
  • Technology sales and educational experience such as SaaS sales, CRM, SalesForce, social media, etc.
  • Strong presentation skills in face-to-face and virtual environments.
  • Experience building and maintaining business relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to implement feedback and adapt approach for success.

Qualifications

  • Educational background including a degree or relevant work/military experience.
  • Experience in outside sales, prospecting, and negotiation.
  • Experience with technology sales, SaaS, CRM tools, and social media platforms.
