About the Role

The Clinic Account Manager (CAM) is a professional sales account manager position at Bausch + Lomb, responsible for achieving sales and revenue goals for surgical devices, equipment, and disposables. This field-based role involves managing existing customer relationships, prospecting new business, and supporting the promotion of Bausch + Lomb Surgical products, including premium IOL and osmolarity products. The position reports to Clinical Division Managers and requires a focus on customer centricity and sales growth within the ophthalmic medical device sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Successfully complete a formal training and certification program for all responsible products in the areas of product knowledge and selling skills.
  • Prepare territory action plans and routing schedules to identify specific targets.
  • Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity, trade shows, and website inquiries.
  • Attain territory revenue objectives by acquiring new business and increasing utilization within existing customers.
  • Support customers in post-sales activities including onboarding and practice integration.
  • Utilize Salesforce reports to prepare presentations, proposals, and sales contracts.
  • Establish and maintain current and potential customer relationships.
  • Identify and resolve customer concerns.
  • Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, and feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff.
  • Complete timely data entry such as detailed call logs and lead forecasting, and maintain customer information in Salesforce/CRM.
  • Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events as requested.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of customers and competitors.
  • Work cross-functionally as needed to assist in sales of all B+L products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in science, business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years successful sales experience.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to establish priorities to meet goals.
  • Highly motivated and results driven.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and sales enablement technologies such as SFDC, Seismic, Power BI.
  • Sales experience in Ophthalmic and Medical Devices preferred.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Salesforce (SFDC), Seismic, Power BI, or similar sales enablement tools.
  • Background in ophthalmic or medical device sales.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in science, business, or related field.
  • 3+ years of successful sales experience in relevant sectors.
