About the Role

Meta Reality Labs (RL) is looking for an exceptional individual to take on the role of Channel Marketing Manager for North America retail to manage our Amazon business. Reporting to the General Manager [Amazon North America], this experienced candidate will be responsible for and oversee marketing operations including budgets, experiential programs, customer acquisition and retention, and measurement while continually improving our toolset and processes to meet our goals. This exciting and crucial role will be responsible for driving and delivering our go-to-channel strategy with Amazon in the US and Canada. The candidate should possess analytical skills and have experience communicating and collaborating effectively with internal cross-functional partners - including Sales, Marketing, and Sales Operations. The position entails establishing and strengthening relationships with Amazon in order to drive the Meta Metaverse hardware vision. The ideal candidate should be customer-focused, driven to make Meta 'our retail partner's best partner', and thrive in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing, building and executing marketing programs in partnership with internal Channel Marketing, Channel Experiences, Retail Design and Marketing counterparts in order to achieve business goals.
  • Leading, applying and executing Meta Reality Labs Channel Marketing strategy directly with Amazon within agreed-upon budgets and key performance indicators.
  • Providing oversight and management of channel co-marketing and OPEX budget, focusing on performance and delivering against agreed upon metrics.
  • Coordinating and managing marketing brand assets and deliver on time to Retail Creative teams, while following-up and delivering to retail partners.
  • Taking a broad perspective while examining campaigns and projects assessing problems & making decisions based on relevant information, including identifying and spotting less obvious solutions- creatively.
  • Influencing key business decisions and outcomes within cross-functional and organizational settings.
  • Managing, measuring and optimizing marketing programs that drive results and improve efficiency.
  • Providing point-of-contact for Meta RL Marketing in relation to accounts managed.
  • Completing and examining campaigns and projects assessing problems and making decisions based on relevant information - including new or less-obvious solutions.
  • Updating product detail pages, brand stores and managing marketing placements.
  • Providing active input during Channel Marketing goal creation process.
  • Influencing retail Channel Marketing team and accounts they support.
  • Building and maintaining collaborative and productive relationships while networking internally and externally with retailer marketing counterparts.
  • Participating actively in interviewing and onboarding of new employees.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in a Retail leadership channel marketing role.
  • Experience with a consumer technology brand.
  • 5+ years experience in building go-to-market strategy, planning and execution across online and traditional retail channels while managing large channel marketing budgets.
  • 5+ years experience working directly with online retail partners with knowledge of key advertising metrics and programs such as CPC, CPA, LTV, and ROAS.
  • Experience developing and executing digital currency programs and initiatives with a leading technology brand.
  • Experience and clear understanding of how Amazon manages and measures their business.
  • Experience presentation complex ideas and engaging diverse audiences.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Economics.
  • Experience working with Amazon Advertising, digital retail marketing vendors, and extensive experience with annual vendor negotiations.
  • Experience planning and managing cross-functional partner events with retailers.
  • Experience with a new business technology that may have changed the way people connect, work and socialize (e.g., Uber, Stripe, Apple).
  • Global retail experience (outside of the US).
  • Experience in digital marketing relating to Amazon Retail & Advertising.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Economics.
