About the Role

The Education Channel Sales Manager at Stratasys is responsible for driving overall educational sales within an assigned territory, managing partner relationships, and ensuring sales targets are met or exceeded. This role involves creating business plans, conducting joint sales calls, and supporting partner sales activities to promote Stratasys solutions in the education sector. The position is based in Eden Prairie and supports Stratasys's mission to lead in additive manufacturing and 3D printing solutions across various industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets in assigned territory.
  • Create and execute business plans for the territory.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews and follow-up on actions to strengthen partner relationships in the territory.
  • Lead communications and drive marketing campaigns.
  • Manage forecast and training activities.
  • Coordinate post-sales communication and logistics.
  • Ensure proper sales coverage within the territory.
  • Identify, select, and train partner organizations.
  • Conduct high-level joint sales calls with partner sales representatives as needed.
  • Ensure marketing programs and promotions are being executed by partners.
  • Provide accurate monthly sales forecasts.
  • Interface between customer service, order management, client engagement, and other key groups within Stratasys to ensure business completion.
  • Proactively plan and support regionally focused partner sales activities with Stratasys support.
  • Conduct monthly account reviews with partner principals and sales teams.
  • Communicate product, industry, and competitive information to sales reps to assist in closing business.
  • Participate in regional and national trade shows as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, sales, or equivalent experience.
  • 1+ years of sales experience in a related field.
  • 3+ years of solution-based sales experience selling both at the end user or dealer level.

Nice to Have

  • Excellent time management, communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Professional appearance and presentation.
  • Experience working with PCs and various software/hardware applications.
  • Experience in consultative selling or “turn-key” (hardware and software) systems.
  • Prior experience working directly with resellers in a channel sales environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate indirect salespeople, business owners, and drive reseller motivation.

Qualifications

  • Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • Legal eligibility to work in the United States.
