About the Role

As we continue to grow our presence across New England, we are looking for a leader to drive our independent agent strategy in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. The Chief of Agency Marketing will lead efforts in recruiting, developing, and supporting top-tier independent agents, managing a high-performing team, and driving strategy to ensure profitable growth and agent satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Strengthen and expand Plymouth Rock's market presence in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, identifying strategic opportunities for growth and agent engagement.
Deliver profitable premium volume that exceeds business goals.
Own and evolve the Agent Interface platform to champion technology initiatives.
Recruit and strengthen relationships with high-performing independent agents.
Hire, develop, and inspire a dynamic agency marketing team.
Monitor competitive activity and respond with agility.
Collaborate with Product, Underwriting, and other departments to develop and execute strategies supporting agent success and product competitiveness.
Measure and improve agent and customer satisfaction.
Lead continuous improvement across operations and agent support.

Requirements

A reputation as a creative, results-driven marketing executive.
Established relationships with top 100 insurance agencies and national accounts, with a proven ability to develop high-value partnerships.
A natural leader and mentor, skilled at building strong, collaborative teams.
A sharp analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data and make confident decisions.
Proficiency in modern marketing tools including social media, digital platforms, and CRM systems.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Deep understanding of Property & Casualty insurance, especially Personal Lines.
Experience in underwriting, pricing, and agency relationship management.
Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
8+ years of agency-facing sales experience in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
5+ years in a Director or Senior Leadership role within a P&C insurance carrier.

Nice to Have

Professional insurance designations such as CPCU, CIC, or ARM.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (required).
MBA (preferred).
Professional insurance designations (preferred).
8+ years of agency-facing sales experience in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
5+ years in a senior leadership role within a P&C insurance carrier.
