About the Role

NIQ is the world's leading consumer intelligence company, delivering the most complete understanding of consumer buying behavior and revealing new pathways to growth. The NIQ Retail Analytics team is looking for a Client Manager to support client needs and strategically manage client relationships across a portfolio of accounts. This role involves working with world-class data assets to deliver value at a massive scale, helping clients set pricing strategies, introduce new products, and determine product placement on shelves and online. The position requires being onsite 3 days a week in Commerce, CA, and involves working with clients to provide insights, thought leadership, and actionable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Become familiar with NIQ Retail Analytics database content, processes, and frontend applications, and ensure data quality in collaboration with the backend data delivery team.
  • Train retailers on how to use NIQ data and dashboard solutions to execute pricing, promotion, and assortment decisions.
  • Lead client teams through designing, selling, executing, and presenting analytic studies to meet research objectives.
  • Penetrate and establish enduring client relationships with senior decision makers by demonstrating ongoing value and driving client outcomes.
  • Ensure proactive insights and action-oriented solutions are delivered to clients.
  • Grow and develop with a team responsible for delivering against client commitments.
  • Drive account renewals and overall portfolio value to meet revenue goals.
  • Identify opportunities to collaborate across NIQ teams and uncover sales opportunities with clients.

Requirements

  • 4-8 years of experience within the Retail/CPG/Manufacturing industry.
  • Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to maintain positive client relationships in complex situations and resolve issues.
  • Demonstrated mastery in data analysis and storytelling abilities.
  • Highly proficient in software solutions and digital technologies including SQL, Google Suite, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical, logical, deductive reasoning, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Skilled and polished communicator, including group presentations and proposal writing.
  • Ability to sell NIQ solutions that help clients meet strategic goals.
  • Able to work collaboratively with internal and external teams.
  • Strong sense of urgency and accountability to drive client outcomes.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Able to be onsite 3 days a week.
  • People management, training, and development experience preferred.
