COLLEGE INTERN - DIGITAL MARKETING

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Supports Digital Director and digital team with planning and executing campaigns as assigned.
• Assist the Digital Marketing team with weekly fan communication via email, web, app, and other platforms with a strong emphasis on copywriting.
• Assist with game day content capture as needed for digital platforms.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Currently or recently enrolled at college or university and majoring in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism, sports management or relevant concentration.
• Understanding of and ability to demonstrate professional acumen across the responsibilities of the position, including writing skills and engagement with Club staff and other stakeholders.
• High school diploma/degree.
• Ability to work evenings/nights, weekends and holidays.

Nice to Have

• Experience with email and/or web development platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Constant Contact, MailChimp, Wix, WordPress, Squarespace.
• Experience with Photoshop.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).
• Interest in acquiring further marketing and communications experience across the marketing functions.
• Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise.
• Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize and work under pressure.
