About the Role

A leader in technology and innovation, Southwire Company, LLC is one of North America's largest wire and cable producers. Southwire and its subsidiaries manufacture building wire and cable, utility products, metal-clad cable, portable and electronic cord products, OEM wire products and engineered products. The company also offers digital solutions including contractor planning and utility grid resiliency as well as field services including cable testing, rejuvenation and replacement to support its customers as a value-add partner. The purpose of Southwire's College Programs is to provide valuable experience to students pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher, offering project-based work that builds on classroom learning, with opportunities to present projects and potentially transition into full-time roles.

Key Responsibilities

Help manage updates to various company online platforms.
Assist in tracking campaign performance metrics and preparing reports.
Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer insights.
Support creation and editing of marketing materials including presentations, flyers, and product sheets.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on promotional campaigns and product launches.
Assist in developing content for various marketing campaigns, social media, email newsletters, and internal communications.
Perform other marketing-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum 2.5 GPA.
Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Communications.
Reliable transportation to and from work.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Strong organization, planning, and analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or other relevant tools.

Nice to Have

Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms.
Knowledge of market research techniques.
Creative and detail-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Communications.
