About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the front-to-back trade life cycle events post execution, working directly with the Front Office and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure efficient delivery of quality service to clients and internal teams.
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of trade lifecycles by interacting with various stakeholders.
• Support cash and collateral management including REPO, Public Funds, FHLB Settlement of transactions through BONY, DTC, DTCC, FedWire, and other industry standards.
• Perform margin calculation, maintenance, and execution.
• Act as the primary point of contact for Front Office Data providers and stakeholders.
• Conduct risk mitigation through reconciliations, trade matching, confirmations, and first-line defense activities.
• Maintain static data and oversee systems and process ownership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Business or a related field.
• 9+ years of experience managing commercial relationships.
• Knowledge of industry settlement platforms such as BONY, Treasury Edge, Access Edge, DTCC, FedWire, DTC, SWIFT.
• Knowledge of industry systems and platforms like TPG.
• Proficiency in Microsoft tools: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Ability to create macros and automate workflows in Excel.
• Excellent organizational, management, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently within a team dynamic.
• Knowledge of industry standards, banking regulations, and standard practices.
• Working knowledge of Commercial Banking.
• Ability to develop resolutions to complex problems using creativity.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
• Python programming language knowledge is a plus.
• Fixed Income Operations experience at a major US bank is preferred.

• Experience with Fixed Income Operations at a major US bank.
