Communications and Data Analytics Intern

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Support the establishment and management of DOS's official LinkedIn presence, including initial profile setup, branding, and content strategy development
• Curate, create, and design LinkedIn content such as articles, reports, videos, and other communications materials that showcase DOS's mission, achievements, and impact
• Monitor LinkedIn analytics and provide insights on content performance and audience engagement
• Support broader communication strategies by leveraging LinkedIn as a key platform for external relations
• Design core identity products that illustrate corporate vision, mission, and values
• Design and prepare content and copy for corporate briefings, presentations, fact sheets, snapshots, articles, and other internal and external communications materials
• Support the development of websites, including layout, content, look, and feel
• Provide design support across a range of print and online products
• Support the development and implementation of larger communication strategies and efforts

Requirements

• Be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or higher), or be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor's level or equivalent)
• Experience developing social media strategies and communications campaigns
• Experience working to maintain and build a successful social media presence across various platforms
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of another official UN language is an advantage

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of French or other UN official languages

Qualifications

• Enrollment in or completion of a graduate or undergraduate degree program as specified
