About the Role

Salesforce is seeking a Communications & Engagement Manager for the Office of Accessibility. The role involves leading strategic storytelling, managing accessibility-related events, overseeing internal and external communications, and strengthening relationships across teams to promote accessibility initiatives. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day content development across internal and external channels, including newsletters, blogs, and talking points.
  • Own and execute the Office of Accessibility LinkedIn strategy by drafting posts, publishing content, and monitoring performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as PR, Social, Legal, Recruiting, and Events to align messaging and drive broader impact.
  • Draft and edit talking points, presentation materials, and messaging for executives and team members.
  • Manage and update the communications and engagement calendar to ensure deadlines and deliverables are met.
  • Plan and execute major accessibility campaigns and events, including Global Accessibility Awareness Day, Disability Employment Awareness Month, and International Day of People with Disabilities.
  • Support planning and execution of the annual Accessibility Summit, designing engaging experiences for internal and external audiences.
  • Support post-event storytelling, scripting, and amplification of key moments across channels.
  • Provide operational support including project tracking, resourcing updates, and campaign reporting.
  • Manage content contractors and coordinate creative support for communications materials.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in communications, marketing, or content strategy.
  • Experience planning and executing strategic events or campaigns with multiple stakeholders.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills.
  • Experience managing contractors, agencies, or vendor relationships.
  • Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrated experience with social media strategy and content, especially LinkedIn.
  • Familiarity with accessibility, disability inclusion, or inclusive design is a plus.
  • Comfortable using Salesforce tools such as Salesforce, Slack, Tableau, and Workday.
