Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the team to develop internal and external marketing communication strategies
  • Allocate significant time to supporting major Via LA events throughout the year
  • Contribute to the development of social media content and strategies (including paid campaigns) to further boost Via LA's visibility online
  • Support marketing campaigns for specific Via LA programs
  • Contribute to earned media efforts within the organization and support engagement with members of the media
  • Support the development of presentations and other communications material
  • Conduct research as needed in support of Via LA's communications and marketing initiatives and events

Requirements

  • Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities
  • Keen ability to balance the need to follow direction while finding opportunities to offer creative new ideas and solutions
  • Strong attention to detail and deadlines
  • Comfort working with senior executives
  • Ability to facilitate cross functional projects across multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently with self-awareness to know when to ask for guidance from team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to create and deliver compelling presentations
  • Experience with MS Office applications
  • Interest in and willingness to experiment with new tools and technologies to generate faster and better outcomes for the team and organization

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge and passion of event management
  • Design skills

Qualifications

  • Working toward an undergrad degree or MBA
  • Recent graduates within 6 months of graduation considered
  • Availability to work full time, Monday - Friday, from September 2025 - March 2026
  • In-office days required each week
