Events Marketing Coordinator

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with all Zumiez marketing initiatives including our events portfolio and The Zumiez Stash rewards program.
• Assist in ideation and execution of creative activation ideas for events.
• Support marketing team in production of event materials, props/decor, and signage for both internal & external events/promos.
• Assist in general marketing research projects including gathering and sorting information and building reports/research documents.
• Participate in back-end operations for The Zumiez Stash program with heavy involvement in helping the program acquire and manage rewards.
• Learn the basics of all areas of the Marketing department, helping with logistics and administrative tasks as needed to execute projects effectively and successfully.

Requirements

• Pursuing a BA/BS in Marketing related field or previous Zumiez Experience.
• Knowledge of action sports lifestyles and market trends/opportunities.
• Strong interest in learning across multiple areas of marketing.
• Good attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through.
• Ability to stay focused and work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks, and to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
• Good decision making and problem-solving skills.
• Strong computer skills; working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, & Outlook.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Willingness to travel and work over weekends and holidays when necessary.
• Able support on fulfillment/shipping as needed and able to lift 50+ lbs.

Nice to Have

• Retail experience.
• Experience with digital events or building online communities (Twitch, Discord, TikTok, etc).
