SPORTS EVENTS OPERATIONS INTERNSHIP (PEAK EVENTS) - SPRING 2026

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Help manage and assist sales operations and client fulfillment.
• Assist with sales proposals and Peak Events inventory system.
• Support tournament operations and marketing activities.
• Run social media platforms for Peak Events.
• Participate in the preparation and activation of sports classics such as the Frisco Classic, Round Rock Classic, Live Like Lou Jacksonville Classic, and Live Like Lou Las Vegas Classic.
• Gain first-hand experience from a sponsorship sales perspective.
• Develop sponsorship sales ideas to pitch to potential prospects.
• Research and identify potential categories and specific companies for sponsorship opportunities.
• Assist with developing standard and customized proposals and contracts for potential clients.
• Develop and maintain relationships with potential and current sponsors.
• Capture screenshots, images, and documentation of sponsor activation for proof of performance reports.
• Create marketing packages with innovative ideas for potential clients.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate/graduate program or graduated with at least a bachelor's degree from a 4-year university or college.
• Must have a passion for gaining experience in sales, marketing, and event operations.
• Demonstrate an enthusiastic and outgoing personality.
• Effective communication skills and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Willing to learn and grow as a sport professional.
• Prepared to possibly work nights and weekends.
