About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Manage social media campaigns and distribute content on website and social media platforms.
• Draft and edit collateral materials, such as press releases, brochures, and newsletters.
• Develop and implement strategies for content development and outreach, expanding brand visibility and strengthening stakeholder and employee engagement.
• Identify pitching opportunities and collect testimonials.
• Review legislation and trends related to benefits programs.
• Update contact lists and internal databases.
• Assist in coordinating outreach events, fundraisers, and annual receptions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years of communications experience preferred.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Self-starter with strong problem-solving and time management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
• Familiarity with social media and content management platforms.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Adobe Acrobat.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years of communications experience preferred.

Benefits & Perks

• Rate of $20 per hour while temping.
• Salary of $50,000 - $55,000 per year once permanent.
