About the Role

The Community & Regional Bank Partner Manager at U.S. Bank is responsible for managing the satisfaction, growth, and renewal of assigned bank partners. This role involves building strategic relationships, developing revenue opportunities, executing marketing campaigns, and ensuring compliance and training within bank partnerships. The position supports U.S. Bank's mission to help customers and communities make better financial decisions and grow successfully, leveraging Elavon's payment solutions and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with partner to understand bank goals and build strategic action plans to meet both bank and Elavon goals on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Work directly with bank management and sales to develop incremental sources of revenue.
  • Develop and promote acceptance of revenue initiatives with bank management.
  • Initiate sales and vertical market campaigns, including data mining initiatives, vertical market campaigns (e.g., ECS, DCC, Gift Cards), grassroots campaigns, and specialized bank segment campaigns.
  • Manage brand awareness through content management across all mediums and leverage website opportunities between Elavon and bank partners.
  • Identify strategic opportunities including emerging markets, pricing/product margins, and product/portfolio mix.
  • Create and administer bank partner business review sessions.
  • Ensure compliance of co-branded content and develop/administer bank partner training.
  • Serve as key liaison for conversion management and communications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Typically eight or more years of relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of all products and services applicable to target client segment.
  • Considerable knowledge of applicable policies and procedures.
  • Advanced knowledge of all organization products and operations.
  • Demonstrated sales and marketing skills and abilities.
  • Strong organizational and managerial skills.
  • Ability to develop and administer budgets.
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with developing strategic action plans.
  • Experience in managing bank or financial institution partnerships.
  • Knowledge of payment solutions and vertical markets like ECS, DCC, Gift Cards.

Qualifications

  • Educational background: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Work experience: Typically eight or more years of relevant experience.
