About the Role

The role involves supporting weapon system manufacturing configuration management, quality, safety, and reliability activities as a senior level Configuration Management/Quality Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Configuration Audits
Physical Configuration Audits
Configuration Management audits
Drawing reviews
Technical documentation development and/or evaluation including requirements development and flow down, engineering drawings, specifications
Data Management
Program design reviews
Technical Scope of Work development
Independent technical reviews
Quality audits
Program safety analysis
Engineering Change Proposal review
Test planning
Test witnessing and analysis
Root cause and corrective action analysis

Requirements

Bachelor's degree with 15+ years of experience
Active secret security clearance
Experience with U.S. Army or other DoD programs is a plus
Experience in electronics engineering and electronics manufacturing processes, production drawings desired
Familiarity with requirements verification techniques and their tradeoffs
Understanding of how verification evolves with system development and qualification processes
Experience with MS Access is desired
Knowledge of DoD, Configuration Management, Quality or Product Assurance including quality engineering, quality management, reliability engineering, quality auditing, ISO9001, AS9102, AS9104, first article testing, or reliability experience
Familiarity with military standards such as MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-464, MIL-STD-810, and other EMI/EMC, system safety, explosive safety, HERO, HERF, HERP standards
Detail-oriented and fact-driven mindset

Nice to Have

Experience with U.S. Army or other DoD programs
Experience in electronics engineering and manufacturing processes
Knowledge of military standards and requirements verification techniques
