The role involves supporting weapon system manufacturing configuration management, quality, safety, and reliability activities as a senior level Configuration Management/Quality Engineer.

  • Physical Configuration Audits
  • Configuration Management audits
  • Drawing reviews
  • Technical documentation development and/or evaluation including requirements development and flow down, engineering drawings, specifications
  • Data Management
  • Program design reviews
  • Technical Scope of Work development
  • Independent technical reviews
  • Quality audits
  • Program safety analysis
  • Engineering Change Proposal review
  • Test planning
  • Test witnessing and analysis
  • Root cause and corrective action analysis

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 15+ years of experience
  • Active secret security clearance
  • Experience with U.S. Army or other DoD programs is a plus
  • Experience in electronics engineering and electronics manufacturing processes, production drawings desired
  • Familiarity with requirements verification techniques and their tradeoffs
  • Understanding of how verification evolves with system development and qualification processes
  • Experience with MS Access is desired
  • Knowledge of DoD, Configuration Management, Quality or Product Assurance including quality engineering, quality management, reliability engineering, quality auditing, ISO9001, AS9102, AS9104, first article testing, or reliability experience
  • Familiarity with military standards such as MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-464, MIL-STD-810, and other EMI/EMC, system safety, explosive safety, HERO, HERF, HERP standards
  • Detail-oriented and fact-driven mindset

Nice to Have

  • Experience with U.S. Army or other DoD programs
  • Experience in electronics engineering and manufacturing processes
  • Knowledge of military standards and requirements verification techniques
