About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Create content (including video and graphics for social media, broadcast TV, and other delivery streams) for our commercial client, while also marketing news and entertainment properties as needed.
• Write compelling copy that maximizes the impact on audiences on each platform.
• Interact with Sales, News, Marketing, and other management to ensure created content adheres to brands and goals.
• Look for new and innovative ways to create content that will reach audiences efficiently.
• Meet tight deadlines consistently.
• Work directly with commercial clients to meet their marketing needs.
• Participate in station events, including appearances within the community.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.

Requirements

• Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere and After Effects.
• A resume reel including personal, academic, and professional projects demonstrating talent.
• Ability to write engaging and imaginative copy.
• Skill in shooting captivating, cinematic video.
• A college degree and two years of previous experience in social or broadcast content creation.
• Ability to produce content from conception to post, including scripting, shooting, editing, and managing deadlines.
• Shooting skills and understanding of graphics and visual effects.
• Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of top social media platforms and best practices for posting.
• Good client relations and communication skills.

• Experience with managing multiple platforms and delivery streams.
• Creative thinking and innovation in content creation.

Qualifications

• College degree
• Two years of experience in social or broadcast content creation
