They are seeking a Part-Time Social Media Manager to handle the day-to-day management of their Facebook and Instagram accounts, focusing on community engagement and performance monitoring, without content creation responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Post scheduled content across Facebook and Instagram
Respond to comments and DMs within 4 hours during business hours
Monitor brand mentions and hashtags
Engage authentically with community members and local Austin accounts
Flag urgent customer service issues to the team
Schedule upcoming week's content in HubSpot
Brief performance check and optimization
Monitor competitors
Coordinate with video editor and design team for asset needs
Join 30-minute weekly check-in calls
Prepare monthly performance reports with insights and recommendations
Audit and update social profiles
Research trending Austin/real estate content
Identify engagement opportunities and partnerships

Requirements

2+ years managing business social media accounts
Experience with Facebook Business Manager and Instagram Creator Studio
Proven track record of growing engagement (not just followers)
Strong understanding of social media best practices and algorithm changes
Excellent written communication skills
Available for occasional Austin-area events (1-2 per quarter)
Reliable internet and smartphone for real-time engagement

Nice to Have

Experience with real estate, home building, or B2C sales
Knowledge of Austin market and culture
HubSpot experience
Basic understanding of paid social media advertising
Photography skills for occasional event coverage

Qualifications

Experience with social media management for business accounts
