About the Role

RUN Studios, and its client partner, a large online retailer headquartered in Seattle, are seeking a Content Ingestion Specialist to join for an approximate 4-month project, with potential for conversion. This fully remote position requires residence in one of the specified states. The role involves supporting the availability of digital content from top publishers on a software downloads platform, managing end-to-end content onboarding, troubleshooting errors, and optimizing workflows. Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate with publisher-side operations teams to collect product catalogs and digital assets (files, images, metadata).
  • Ingest content into platform systems using ingestion tools.
  • Troubleshoot ingestion issues, escalate when necessary, and manage resolutions promptly.
  • Track and report on ingestion KPIs (e.g., completion rates, error rates, time-to-publish).
  • Streamline workflows by creating dashboards, consolidating data, and automating reports.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase speed and reduce errors.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, merchandising, and engineering.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months of hands-on experience with content ingestion software (e.g., Symphony or equivalent).
  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis and pattern recognition.
  • 2-3 years of experience in process streamlining, including dashboards and data reporting.
  • Strong background in marketing and merchandising.
  • Proven ability to interface with external vendors and troubleshoot complex workflows.
  • Skilled in managing multiple priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and basic HTML.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with A/B testing platforms.
  • Prior involvement in the digital content or gaming industry.
  • Previous exposure to content publishing workflows.

Qualifications

  • Experience with content ingestion software (e.g., Symphony or equivalent).
  • Experience in data analysis and pattern recognition.
  • Experience in process streamlining, dashboards, and data reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and basic HTML.
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred).
