Key Responsibilities

Serve as an editorial decision-maker for TV, web, mobile, and social networking platforms.
Oversee and maintain close contact with all involved in the news-gathering processes.
Evaluate the full editorial possibilities of every story and make immediate decisions on dissemination.
Work closely with the news director, executive producer, and digital content producers to ensure market-leading content is delivered on all platforms.

Requirements

A college degree and proven success in an aggressive newsroom are preferred.
Experience in news management or leadership roles is implied.
Ability to make editorial decisions and oversee news content across multiple platforms.

Nice to Have

Experience working in a broadcast news environment.
Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
