About the Role

The Manager of Content Marketing at Motion Industries develops and executes marketing programs that leverage content across various mediums. This role involves creating and managing content, collaborating with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, and supporting the company's strategic marketing objectives to establish Motion as an industry thought leader. The position requires a creative, organized, and adaptable individual capable of shifting focus between projects while meeting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overall content creation and management while leading team members through the completion of initiatives.
  • Employs creativity to develop innovative programs and campaigns that help sellers, prospects, and customers understand and grow wallet share of Motion products and services.
  • Communicates and collaborates directly with senior leadership and stakeholders across the company.
  • Builds and leads marketing programs to support specific marketing objectives aligned with the overall strategic marketing plan.
  • Works to establish Motion as an industry thought leader.
  • Aligns the organization internally around the brand and marketing objectives.
  • Develops clear messaging around the business value that Motion provides for each core value.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or Management.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in marketing or an equivalent combination.
  • Ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to break down corporate and departmental barriers.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to influence change.
  • Strong time management and project management skills.
  • Self-starter, critical thinker, and problem-solver who thrives in a rapidly changing high-growth environment.
  • Ability to complete multiple tasks with accuracy while managing interruptions and deadlines.
  • Willingness to innovate.
  • Experience with digital platforms such as blogs, website updates, email, and landing page copy creation.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with cross-functional collaboration with sales, marketing, operations, and engineering teams.
  • Ability to leverage collective intelligence across multiple teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or Management.
