The role of the Copywriter involves partnering with Art Directors to turn insights into concepts and ideas into compelling, channel-aware work, with a social-first mindset that adapts across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Meta, and beyond. This position offers an environment to experiment, grow, and produce work that resonates and sparks discussion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interprets briefs clearly and responds with smart, culturally relevant ideas and writing.
  • Seeks clarity to understand the assignment, feedback, and business goals.
  • Generates and sells conceptual ideas with minimal oversight-then makes them real.
  • Collaborates early and often across departments to elevate the work.
  • Builds relationships across disciplines to strengthen creative outcomes.
  • Owns deliverables, manages time, and meets deadlines with autonomy.
  • Communicates progress regularly and flags issues when needed.
  • Partners with Art Directors and Designers to align copy with visual tone.
  • Delivers work that's impossible to ignore—from concept to final execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Creative Writing, Journalism, Communications, or Advertising/Portfolio school preferred.
  • 2-5 years agency experience.
  • Portfolio that proves conceptual thinking and standout writing across mediums—especially social.
  • Proven ability to craft and optimize copy for TikTok, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with social-first content creation and platform norms.
  • Ability to adapt voice and tone across diverse brands and briefs.
  • Experience contributing to video storytelling from script to production.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field (preferred).
  • 2-5 years of agency experience.
