About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a considerable workload and critical deadlines.
• Develop engaging, persuasive copy for various projects, ranging from store signs and print mailers to website pages and product descriptions.
• Collaborate with graphic designers and cross-functional partners to translate briefs and company priorities into customer-facing stories.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, including concepting, writing, proofreading and providing edits.
• Conduct research and gather information needed to complete assigned projects (pricing, event information, product specifications, etc.).
• Ensure 100% accuracy on all content, including pricing, product/event information, headlines, grammar, spelling and punctuation.
• Continuously evolve the copy through the lifecycle of the project based on strategy changes and feedback.
• Participate in reviews, presentations, and other project-related meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with all policies and standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism, English or related field.
• 3-5 years related experience or training.
• Strong writing skills that include tone, structure, grammar, spelling and factual accuracy.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to think big picture.
• Ability to manage/execute multiple ongoing projects.
• Familiarity with content management systems.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Understanding of retail climate, terminology and SEO.
• Working knowledge of InDesign is a plus.

• Working knowledge of InDesign.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related field.
• 3-5 years related experience or training.
