This role combines Brand Activation and Creative Production disciplines, overseeing brand activation strategies, event planning, content creation, and cross-functional collaboration to elevate our market presence and creative assets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute strategies that drive engagement, create unforgettable experiences, and reinforce our brand DNA.
  • Lead the planning and execution of live and virtual events—from store activations to branded experiences.
  • Manage the development and distribution of marketing materials, including promotional items, digital content, and displays.
  • Serve as the point of contact for retailers, influencers, and brand partners to ensure activations run smoothly and relationships stay strong.
  • Track and analyze performance of activations and partnerships; recommend optimizations.
  • Help manage budgets, timelines, and resources to keep programs within scope.
  • Stay sharp on industry trends, consumer behavior, and new activation technology to generate innovative ideas.
  • Proficiently handle both still and motion photography, understanding file formats, asset archiving, and related technologies.
  • Own the logistics and execution of all pre-production through post-production related to shoots.
  • Build and lead the intake and prioritization process for photo/video requests, ensuring readiness before approval.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver work that is aligned, efficient, and on-brand.
  • Maintain quality control of imagery, including color correction and brand standards compliance.
  • Help define and evolve content production processes to bring structure to creative workflows.
  • Balance creative vision with real-world constraints such as timelines, budgets, and product availability.

Requirements

  • Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously without dropping the ball.
  • Experience building and managing timelines, resources, schedules, and budgets.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to spot risks early and resolve issues quickly.
  • Excellent communication skills to keep stakeholders informed, aligned, and supported.
  • Ability to develop streamlined workflows that improve efficiency.
  • Experience working closely with creative, marketing, merchandising, and brand teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to translate creative ideas into logistical plans.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs and stand/move throughout the day in a high-energy environment.
  • Demonstrates Northern Tool + Equipment's 12 Core Competencies.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with event management and activation execution.
  • Proficiency in photo and video editing software.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and new activation technologies.

Qualifications

  • Experience in brand activation, creative production, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in still and motion photography and related technologies.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
