The role of Senior Director of Global Heinz Brand Strategy involves leading the global brand vision, strategic planning, portfolio architecture, innovation, and category expansion to drive business growth worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and own the long-term Global brand ambition, positioning, and 1 and 3-year global brand strategy in service of local plan acceleration.
  • Partner with country-level leaders in key design markets to strengthen and scale the brand's growth plans locally.
  • Identify future Global innovation and renovation big bets in partnership with Global Innovation and Insights teams; define repeatable models to embed big bets locally and drive scaled impact.
  • Establish core and expansion product portfolio guardrails (where to play, sequencing) alongside the brand's nutrition philosophy.
  • Develop and execute consumer-led global Sponsorship/Partnership strategy to scale impact and value of brand agreements.
  • Define the role of the brand from a People/Planet perspective in partnership with Sustainability & relevant cross-functional teams.
  • Expand and maintain global pack design architecture guidelines.
  • Set the standards for brand Licensing/Merchandising guardrails.
  • Collaborate with local design markets to embed brand guidelines and support adherence to standards.
  • Leverage global data and insights to understand business context and drivers of performance to highlight actions needed in collaboration with zone partners.
  • Inspire and influence a highly connected and passionate community of +250 Heinz marketers via monthly Global brand townhalls.

Requirements

  • 15+ years' experience in FMCG marketing, with strong expertise in brand strategy development, commercial drivers understanding, portfolio and category development.
  • Proven experience & passion behind building iconic brands with clear ambition, positioning, and purpose.
  • Global or multimarket brand strategy experience an asset.
  • Future-oriented strategic thinker who can chart the course in new markets/categories/products.
  • Very skilled in end-to-end innovation capabilities.
  • Clear capabilities in the center of excellence thinking and building guidance to set 'best-in-class' standards.
  • Exceptional leadership and ownership, influencing at all levels within the organization.
  • Models great collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • A strong simplifier and storyteller, who effectively translates complex insights into actionable strategies that drive business results.
  • Curiosity and creative problem solving.
  • Driven, passionate self-starter.
  • Comfortable in ambiguous environments and shifting priorities without a defined roadmap.

  • Experience in multi-market brand strategy.
  • Experience with innovation and renovation big bets.
  • Experience working in or with design markets and licensing/merchandising standards.
