About the Role

The Customer Account Manager - Supply Chain acts as the secondary site contact and liaison to manage a set of assigned customer accounts related to supply of commercialized products and services. The role involves managing the execution of the order to cash flow process, aligning customer needs with Catalent capabilities, and ensuring excellent customer satisfaction through on-time delivery and strong relationship building. This position is based 100% on-site in Greendale, IN, within Catalent's global manufacturing and development network dedicated to delivering life-enhancing products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as secondary customer/site contact for assigned customer accounts.
  • Manage the execution of the order to cash flow process and align customer needs with Catalent capabilities.
  • Provide feedback on customer temperatures to General Manager regularly.
  • Maintain sales orders in the system in line with customer request dates.
  • Send written order acknowledgment to the customer with a firm promise date.
  • Update customers with changes in promise date.
  • Manage regular communication with internal and external stakeholders through team meetings, email, phone calls, and ad hoc meetings.
  • Interact with cross-functional teams to approach and resolve customer actions and deliverables.
  • Proactively communicate customer deliverables and drive results.
  • Provide feedback and knowledge of customer priorities to site Supply Planning team.
  • Coordinate with Quality team for timely release of Finished Goods to support on-time delivery and site forecast objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree or 2+ years of experience and a High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of experience in account management (preferred).
  • Understanding of supply chain and related services (preferred).
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience using ERP systems (preferred).
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office experience, specifically with Excel.
  • Knowledge and experience in GMP environment (preferred).
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize workloads with some guidance from leadership.
  • Effective interaction with individuals and departments.
  • Ability to talk and hear, sit, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, and manipulate keys on a keyboard.
  • Occasional standing, walking, reaching, bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
  • Vision abilities including close vision.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in client-facing roles.
  • Past experience with ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of GMP environment.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of experience in account management (preferred).
