The Data Analytics Professional will perform various functions, primarily utilizing data analysis techniques to innovate, build, and maintain well-managed data insights and capabilities to solve and influence business problems. Key duties include data analysis, dashboard creation in Tableau and Power BI, operational reporting, ad hoc reporting, issue remediation support, and technical/process documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform data analysis and develop tools, techniques, and dashboards for insights and data visualization.
  • Create robust dashboards in Tableau and Power BI, and support operational reporting and analytics.
  • Respond to data-related inquiries to support business and ESC teams in real-time.
  • Gather business requirements and translate them into design and implementation solutions.
  • Tell the story about data within and across sourcing applications and services.
  • Support issue remediation and technical/process documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
  • 3-5 years of related experience in data analytics or a similar field.
  • Ability to analyze complex and sometimes contradictory information and translate it into actionable insights and visualizations.
  • Experience collecting and reviewing data, identifying anomalies, data gaps, and inconsistencies, and implementing controls to increase data integrity.
  • Experience with SQL queries; Python experience is a plus.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including creating presentations, dashboards, and summaries.
  • Prior experience with project or program management and managing large volumes of work concurrently.
  • Proven experience creating analytics models and robust dashboards.
  • Experience working with data warehouse environments.
  • Ability to collaborate and influence in matrixed environments.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Python programming.
  • Experience supporting data analytics solutions within an organization.
